Local Council Elections

Porthleven Town Council would love to see some new faces join the Council to represent the wide demographic of Porthleven. As a Town Councillor you will be able to help shape the future of our wonderful town by working with both Cornwall Council and the Community and make decisions on the local services. Become involved in some of the exciting projects currently being undertaken including the refurbishment / rejuvenation of the iconic Bickford Smith Institute so that it is there for the whole community now and into the future, work with the dedicated newly formed Climate Action Porthleven Group, learn about planning and help ensure that new development enhances the town along with a number of other projects.
Porthleven Town Council has 9 Councillors and in order to stand you will need to obtain a candidate pack from Cornwall Council, which includes full guidance on completion from:
