Pitch a Project
Cornwall Rural Community Charity (CRCC) are delighted to announce £40,000 of National Lottery funding to support a small grants opportunity in Helston and The Lizard areas.
The vital funding, provided by The National Lottery Community Fund – the largest funder of community activity in the UK – will give groups fundraising the opportunity to pitch for an additional grant of up to £10,000 towards their local projects.
The projects, which need to be delivered within the postcodes TR12 and TR13, will receive a share of £40,000 thanks to National Lottery players, who raise over £30 million each week for good causes throughout the UK.
To apply, groups will be asked to complete an application form and prepare a simple two minute video of their idea. Help will be available from CRCC (including via Zoom) to support groups in making a pitch.
On Saturday 19th March, a Pitch a Project event will be held in Helston where groups will present their ideas to the local community who will vote for their favourites. Those groups with the most votes will then be awarded with a share of the £40,000 in National Lottery funding.
The applications for Pitch a Project will be open from Thursday 6th January until midday on Monday 7th February 2022.
